Are interracial couples really accepted yet?

I feel like people say our country(US) is colorblind, yet I don't believe so.. I still wonder whether or not interracial couples are looked down upon. I know many people who don't care, but I personally have many close friends whose parents want them to stay within their own race. My family could care less, and it's the same with me! I'm half black half puerto rican and my last bf was white and color didn't matter to him either!
