I want ASIAN parents to answer this question.?

Ok basically society has created a stereotype when it comes to Asian families. Asian parents push their kids too hard on their grades, keep them in the house all the time, are overprotective, and don't take into consideration about their kid's social and physical well-being. NO OFFENSE...but WHY are Asian parents like this? I got Straight As and all my parents said was they were "satisfied." SERIOUSLY WHY DO YOU GUYS LECTURE US WHEN WE GET A B AND NOT APPRECIATE THAT WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST? UNIVERSITIES THESE DAYS DON'T ALWAYS FOCUS ON GRADES BUT ON SPORTS AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES. WHY DO YOU GUYS EXPECT US TO BE PERFECT AND DEPEND ON U GUYS AND NOT BE ABLE TO LEARN HOW TO HAND OURSELVES IN LIFE? And WHAT IS UP WITH THE NO INTERRACIAL DATING THING? WHY ARE U ALWAYS USING STUPID REASONS TO EXPLAIN THINGS AND ARE ALWAYS SO NOSY AS TO NOT GIVE US TEENAGERS PRIVACY? DO YOU NOT WANT US TO HAVE A LIFE? I apologize but I feel like venting because it makes me sick to my stomach how kids from Asian families are always complaining on here about this. I've heard stories of suicides and emotional breakdowns from very young adults who are so pressured by their parents. It drives me nuts and its just said in reality.
