Could someone help me. I dont know what flowers to put in my hanging baskets.?

Hi. ive got primroses in my hanging baskets at the moment. (i live in the uk) and some of the primroses are in flower but mostly all of them are just leaves. I want to change them but i don't know what to, i want something bright with nice flowers that will last. My sisters had pansies in her hanging baskets just before christmas, they survived the snow and its summer now and there still blooming. Do you think i should go for them? And will they last through the season?
