What does the bible say about interracial marriage?

While much of the bible is patriarchal, Jewish religion still looks to the mother for whether someone can be declared jewish or not. As such, men were discouraged from taking wives outside their religion. Not so much a matter of race, as tracing the lineage of a person, which was important for preventing incest problems.
