Not trying to be mean but was homosexuality supposed to be accepted?

i can understand black people and interracial marriage being accepted because the bible says nothing about the but it does say things about homosexuality so what i'm asking is was homosexuality mean to be accepted? so if you compare being black to being gay does it make sense to do that? i mean being black is not condemned in the bible but being gay is.
